WHAT IS LAGREE? Lagree is a high-intensity, low-impact fitness method that combines strength training, cardio, endurance, and core work—typically performed on a machine called the Megaformer. While it shares some similarities with Pilates (like controlled, core-focused movements), Lagree is designed to keep your muscles under constant tension for maximum muscle building, sculpting, and calorie burn.
WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING? Wear comfortable clothes you can easily move in, much like you’d wear to the gym or a yoga class. For both safety and sanitary reasons, grip socks are required to take our classes and can be purchased at reception upon checking in. We recommend bringing a water bottle with you as we have a water filtering station. If you will be participating in a mat class, we provide mats, but you are welcome to bring your own to lay on top of ours.
WHERE DO I PARK? We offer 5 reserved parking spots located in the Baldwyn Building for studio guests. In addition, ample public parking is available at Northgate across 5th Avenue. The first three (3) hours are free, after which paid parking is required. Please do not park in the Fifth Avenue Professional Center parking lot located to the south of the studio or in any construction crew lots, as those are restricted and not available for studio use.
HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE FOR CLASS? If it is your first time at The Box Lagree Studio please arrive 10-15 minutes early. If you arrive too late for a safety orientation, your class will be re-credited and you will kindly be asked to return another time. If you are an existing client, it is best to show up at least 5 minutes early so that you can get settled and catch the trainer demo.
WHAT IF I’M RUNNING LATE? We have a strict 5 minute late policy, meaning you will not be allowed into class if you arrive more than five minutes after the schedule start time. You are encouraged to arrive early to find parking and to allow time for check-in, especially if you are a new visitor.
WHAT IS YOUR LATE CANCELLATION/NO SHOW POLICY? A late cancellation is considered anything within 12 hours of class start time. You keep your class credit, but are automatically charged a $15 fee. For a no-show, your class credit is lost and you will automatically be charged a $25 fee.
WHEN DO I GET CHARGED FOR FOUNDING MEMBERSHIP? You’re charged for your first month of Founding Membership when you purchase it. Your monthly membership begins on the date of your first check-in at the studio—regardless of whether that check-in is for a free class or not. Please note that free classes will not count against the number of classes included in your membership. So during your first month, you’ll receive all the classes included in your membership plus any free classes you attend during our soft opening. Your second month of membership will be charged a month after your first class/first visit to the studio.
WHEN CAN I SIGN UP FOR A CLASS? All classes are available to book online up to 7 days in advance or 30 days in advance if you’re a member. We recommend pre-registering to ensure you’ve held your spot in your favorite class or time slot.
WHAT IS THE WAITLIST AND HOW DOES IT WORK? If a class you’d like to take is full, we highly recommend putting yourself on the waitlist. In order to do so, you must purchase credits or a membership. If you do not get a spot in the class, the class credit will be returned to your account. If a spot opens more than 1 hour before the start of class, you will be added to the class and receive an email confirmation. All classes have a 12-hour cancellation policy, so if you’re added to a class from the waitlist at any time after 12 hours before the start of class, be aware that the 12-hour cancellation policy still applies. If you are added to the class and don’t remove yourself in time, you will lose the class credit or be charged a penalty fee if you are using a monthly membership. Any time prior to 1 hour before the start of class, if you are still on the waitlist and realize you no longer want a spot in class, please remove yourself from the waitlist, just like you would cancel a class, and the class credit will be returned to your account. Please note that the waitlist locks and becomes void at the 1-hour mark prior to that class start time – at which point potential spots in the class are available on a first come first serve basis.
HOW DO I CHECK IF I'M ON THE WAITLIST? To check your waitlist status, log in to your account and select My Classes. If you are on the waitlist, you will see your waitlist position. If you do not want this class, be sure to remove yourself from the waitlist or notify us and we’ll remove you.
CAN I PAUSE MY MEMBERSHIP? We allow you to pause your monthly membership for pregnancy, sever injury or major life events, but there will be a $25 fee to pause your membership.
CAN I CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP EARLY? We hope this never happens! We are always willing to sit down and discuss what isn’t working for you and see if we can find a solution. However, if you still decide to cancel your monthly membership within your three month commitment, we charge a $99 early cancellation fee.
